![]() ![]() Myron taught his family many things how to smile, how to pretend and have fun, how to listen intently and not assume, and how to be patient. He enjoyed many pleasures including helping around house, car rides and adventures with his sisters, delicious meals his brother Ernie made, getting hugs and snuggles from Diane the best sister-in-law ever, listening to stories recorded exclusively for him by his sister Sharon and being read to by Sharon and his brother-in-law Roger chatting with his nieces and nephew, red truck rides and truck washes with Mark, playful banter and teasing his sister Joan, pontoon rides with Emma, and lovely walks with Joan and Mark sitting at his special spot at the table, creating songs and singing with Mark, the color red, Rice Krispies, animating his sock monkeys, watching Lawrence Welk, napping, playing his many games, closing cupboard doors, helping with the dishes and turning off the lights when the evening was done. With no continuing education opportunities available, his parents did the best they could to keep Myron learning and enjoying life. Myron attended School of Hope, Richholt Elementary, and graduated from his beloved Bismarck High School. His sister Joan and her husband Mark then had the privilege of caring for and loving Myron in their home for the last 8 years until he died in their arms on Sunday morning, January 28, 2024. However, Edward and Philomena kept him home and cared for him and loved him until they were unable. It was common, then, for children with disabilities to be sent to an institution, and Myron’s parents were given that advice. Myron Dosch was born on October 7, 1957, and per mom’s experience, sadly, due to the impatience of the old rural doctor, Myron, along with his parents were burdened with lifelong challenges associated with cerebral palsy. A private family funeral is being planned. Services to celebrate his beautiful soul will be held Thursday February 1, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Service visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, with a prayer service beginning at 7:00pm.
